BREAKTHROUGH

Peskett has been at the club since the summer of 2019 after joining from the Essex RTC (Regional Talent Club) initially as part of Town's WSL Academy squad.

She made her debut as a 16-year-old against AFC Wimbledon on the opening day of the 2019/20 season and was a key player as Town became the first fourth tier side to reach the fifth round of the Women's FA Cup.

Her debut campaign saw her net 11 goals on the way to winning the Tractor Girls' Player of the Year award.

PRO DEAL

At the age of 18, she became the first professional women’s player in the history of Town, signing a two-year-deal in the summer of 2021.

She had been the subject of interest from Women's Super League clubs but pledged her future to the Blues after scoring 16 goals in 26 games.

On signing her first professional deal back then, she said: "It was a no-brainer for me really to sign a contract here. I was a bit shocked at first, being the first to be offered a pro contract, but it’s an amazing feeling to get it done."

INJURY SET-BACK

A few months into the 2021/22 season, Peskett suffered a torn ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) and subsequently underwent surgery.

It was a major set-back for the winger, who had started the campaign in fine form with three goals and six assists in seven appearances for the Tractor Girls.

After being sidelined for 410 days, Peskett returned to action in a FA Cup clash away to Luton Town in November 2022.

BOUNCING BACK

The winger enjoyed a successful first full season back from her ACL injury, netting 12 goals and providing 20 assists in 2023/24.

She won multiple awards, including being named the Southern Premier Division Player of the Year, lifting her award at Wembley Stadium.

Off the pitch, in October 2024, Peskett became the first in her family to graduate with a university degree after completed her BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science with first-class honours at the University of Suffolk.

THIS SEASON

Peskett has impressed once again in 2024/25, being a key member of the Tractor Girls and starting the campaign strong, netting in the opening three games.

She has been electric down the wing, scoring 17 goals in 22 games, assisting a further six so far as Town push for promotion in the third tier.

They have lost just once in the league so far, with eight games to go.

The side sit second in the table, six points away from leaders Hashtag United, but Town have three games in hand.

Promotion, then, is in their hands - and Peskett will have a big role to play.
